Jesus Christ And Him Crucified

There is nothing more important in this life than knowing Jesus Christ; He is the One who claimed to be God, proved to be God, and He loves you.

He doesn’t love you because you do everything right… because you have never sinned… because… because… because…

He loves you because He is God, and God is love:) – 1 John 4:16.

Because He loves you, He died on the cross for all of your sins, imperfections, regrets, mistakes, and self-inflicted sorrows.

There is nothing that you have done that He will not forgive (though you may suffer the severest consequences in this life) if you repent of your sin, believe in His death for your sin, believe in His resurrection from the dead, and follow Him – Luke 24:46-49.

This is the “Good News” – The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

You can be forgiven if you repent of your sins and believe in Jesus.

God’s grace is unlimited, and where sin abounds, His grace much more abounds – Romans 5:20.

Grace means you can come to Christ just as you are, and He will transform your life for His glory.

Grateful For Believers At Vision

I thank God for the godly believers in our fellowship who love, and give, and sacrifice in order to serve Christ, one another, and anyone in or near our community.

It is remarkable to see God’s love in all of these precious saints serving others – including strangers – without partiality and caring for each other’s needs.

I am grateful to love and serve God with them.

Though we are not perfect, the perfection of His love has united us to do HIs work in the sphere of influence He has graciously granted us.

I am humbled to love Christ with these people, and it is a privilege granted to me by the grace of Christ who bestows upon us His own power to live His Gospel and share His Good News with the world around us.

May He, the KING OF KINGS, be glorified.

Hopeful, Helpful, Truth For Your Soul

Is There Any Hope? Do you need Hope? Are you looking for Hope? As the world grows darker, the Light of the glorious Gospel of the Bible shines ever brighter!

Are you looking for Truth? The Bible has all the answers!

Hope is not a wish or a dream – Hope is Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead on the “third day according to the Scriptures” – 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; because of His resurrection from the dead, all who believe in Him have the absolute assurance of Hope for today, tomorrow, and forever because eternal life and eternal power are only found in Christ – John 17:1-3.

Jesus Christ is our Hope because He came “to save His people from their sins” – Matthew 1:21, and He came to set His people free from their slavery to sin – John 8:31-36.

No one who repents of his or her sins and believes in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ will remain a slave to sin – Romans 6-8. This is glorious truth and renews our hope of a glorious today & tomorrow.

All who repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ are forever freed from the power of sin’s dominion over them. Though we still sin because we are in this physical body, we have power and victory over our sinful lusts and sinful desires through the Holy Spirit – Galatians 2:20; Romans 8; Galatians 5:16-26.

The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved…” – Acts 17:31

The Bibles says, “Be saved from this perverse generation” – Acts 2:40.

The age in which we live is becoming increasingly deceived and unashamed of its perversion. My heart breaks to see the blindness and deception of so many people: the masses of young people who are living without hope grieves my heart, and that is why I preach JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED – 1 Corinthians 2:2.

There is a Living Hope for All – young and old.

The True, Living Hope in this hopeless world is the Messiah of Israel – Jesus of Nazareth. He offers all who repent of sin and believe in Him, His Living Hope – HIMSELF.

We have this offer of the “Living Hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” – 1 Peter. 1:3. Jesus Christ is the “Blessed Hope” – Titus 1:13.

Jesus Christ lives in the hearts of all who repent and believe His glorious Gospel: His death on the cross four our sins, His burial, and resurrection from the dead is the essence of the God’s Gospel.

Christ’s resurrection proves that He is the Authority over all Truth – 1 Timothy 3:16.

It is He alone who is our Hope: “Christ in you the Hope of glory” – Colossians 1:27.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the Truth. Believing Christ’s Truth will not only save your soul from eternal damnation in Hell but will also radically change your life by changing your heart and mind.

God wants to transform your heart through the power of Christ, because whatever is in your heart you will do, say, feel, or think.

May you know the “Blessed Hope” – the Only Hope in this World – the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself.

Love to you, in Christ Jesus, dear friend.

What Should I Do?

I need lots of help in my life. I fail, I make mistakes, I sin, and I become grieved and sorrowful. I mess up; however, there isn’t anyone on this planet that doesn’t sin, mess up, fail, or make bad decisions. There isn’t anyone on this globe that has it “all together.” No one does! Anyone who acts as though they have “it” all together is a liar.

We read in our beloved Bibles that: “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him” – 2 Corinthians 5:21. Jesus Christ never sinned: “He knew no sin.” We do sin and will continue to sin as long as we are in this body though we have victory over our slavery to sin – Romans 6. (We are going to sin, but may it be less and less & dealt with in our hearts before it enters our speech or is manifested in our behavior) Paul cried, “O’ wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ my Lord. So then, with my mind, I myself serve the Law of God but with the flesh the law of sin” -Romans 7:24-25.

“So, what should I do when I don’t know what to do with myself?” (Memorize and pray Galatians 2:20) “I know I’m not perfect, and I understand that Jesus is sinless, but I still need help. Help me,” some may ask.

Dear saint, you need to believe that you have “the righteousness of God” – God’s own righteousness! Your present status as a believer in Christ is “sinless perfection.” You have been given the grace to be considered by God to be forgiven of every trespass against Him and declared “righteous” – the sinlessness of Christ Himself – counted to you! (even though we are still sinners) What should you do? You should “rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice” – Philippians 4:4. You should seek the Lord Jesus Christ every single moment of your godly life on this earth: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you” – Matthew 6:33.

You learn to seek the Lord moment by moment by asking Him to help you seek Him. He told us to seek His kingdom and righteousness first, so we have a grand clue as to what our prayers should be, continually. The Holy Spirit helps all those who are children of God to “cry out, ‘Abba Father'” throughout our busy days – Galatians 4:5-6.

Precious saint, what you need to do is seek Christ and His kingdom first throughout your entire day – off & on as you perform you daily tasks in joy of the Holy Spirit. This is what Paul encouraged us all to do: “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

There is great joy in seeking the Lord as you continually return to thinking of Him after each of your daily responsibilities are accomplished or even while doing them. The Holy Spirit prompts us to seek Him – crying out “Abba Father” no matter what is going on in our lives.
Sometimes it’s a simple, “I love You, Lord.” Or, it may be, “Lord, give me strength to…” But, we need to learn to spend our lives – moment by moment – as “seekers” of Christ Jesus our loving, gracious, compassionate Lord:) This is what we need to do, & He gives us His power to do it.

May you know the power of the Spirit through simple, daily prayers prompted in your heart by the Holy Spirit.

If you have difficulty praying, then ask Him to teach you. He is great teacher!

May He be the reason you know what to do.

God bless you, dear saint.

The Purpose of Vision Calvary

The Purpose of Vision Calvary Chapel is to “work hard as a team for the faith of the Gospel.”
Philippians 1:27

God has called us to be united and for every one of us to work together to accomplish His purpose.

We are called to work as a team in the most important purpose in the world – to exert our collective energy (through the power of the Holy Spirit) in the faith of the Gospel.

  • We are to labor as a team in the faith – Ephesians 4:1-6
    • “The Faith” means there is no other true faith – John 14:6; Acts 4:12

  • We are to exert our efforts as a team in the Gospel – 1 Corinthians 15:1-8
    • We are to live the Gospel. We live the Gospel by living in its heart transforming power daily in our private and public lives – 2 Corinthians 5:17
    • We are to live the Gospel by making disciples – Matthew 28:18-20
    • We are to live the Gospel by teaching and training our own children – Ephesians 6:1-4

In unity, we will accomplish the purpose for which the Lord Jesus Christ has created our fellowship.

Our unity is based on four facts – Philippians 2:1-2.

The four facts are what we experience in our relationship with Christ: encouragement, comfort, fellowship, and tenderness and compassion.

When we fellowship with Christ, we acknowledge and believe:
  • His Lordship – Luke 12:46-49
  • His Friendship/Loveship – John 15:14
  • Our voluntary slavery – Romans 6:22

Our fellowship in Christ involves our daily coming to Him in faith that He is alive, present within us, and seeks to communicate His truth to us, so we may be empowered to live and do His truth. He tells us to: Come, Take, & Learn from Him and we can – Matthew 11:28-30.

Fellowship with Christ is going to result in our desire to be unified with all who are in fellowship with Christ. If we do not seek to be in fellowship with those who are in fellowship with Christ, then we are proving that our individual and personal fellowship with Christ is insufficient to no fault of Christ.

Our Bibles teach us that if there is encouragement, comfort, fellowship, and tenderness and compassion experienced by those who are in fellowship with Christ, then the result will be unity. In the Greek, Philippians 2:1-2 expresses fact – not a hypothesis or a possibility but concrete, objective fact. So, the Greek communicates: Since there is encouragement, comfort, fellowship, and tenderness and compassion experienced by all who are in fellowship with Christ, then you will be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord – all these are expressions of unity.

We must evaluate how poor or how wonderful our fellowship with Christ actually is by our heart’s desire to be unified with all those within our body (& those outside our body) who are truly in Christ.

If our heart is to do our own thing, go our own way, and be our own accountability, then we will know that the personal state of our fellowship with Christ is very, very poor. We are not, presently, Spirit-filled.

The purpose of our unity is to produce heart motivated and mind concentrated teamwork in the work of God: specifically, the Gospel – living it and sharing it.

God has designed that teamwork is required to accomplish His purpose.

The exertion of our collective energy, empowered by the Holy Spirit, “for the faith of the Gospel” is God’s purpose – Philippians 1:27. By doing this, we glorify Him – Ephesians 3:21.

Through our teamwork, we have accomplished wonderful things. May we continue.

May we evaluate our hearts in honest and open reflection.

May we be obedient to Christ and His truth.

May we love one another.

The Only God

There is only one God: “For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD made the heavens.” Psalm 96:4-5

Who is your God? Is your God the God of the Bible? The God of the Bible is the LORD, and He wants you to know that He is the only God; He wants you to believe in Him, pray to Him, and live for Him. He wants to have a relationship with you everyday of your life on earth and for all eternity with Him in heaven – He loves you.

All the gods of the nations are idols. These gods do not love you. These gods are demonic, selfish, and hateful.

We are to fear, serve, and love the God of the Bible above all other gods! That means that all religions are false because the God of the Bible says they are idols, and He is greater than them all – you don’t need any other religion, creed, faith, philosophy, or belief. You only need to believe in Him.

No other god of another religion can help you, but He can because He is the LORD who made the heavens.

If you pray to the God of the Bible, He will help you. He who made the heavens can hear prayers made to Him. Ask Him to speak to your heart. Ask Him to change your life. Ask Him to be help you. Ask Him to save you. Ask Him to live through you.

The LORD God of the Bible who is above all Gods became a man in this world. He was born through the womb of a young virgin named Mary. He lived a perfect, sinless life on this earth as He shared the Good News about Himself, His power, His love, His mercy, His grace, and His judgments. His name is Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God, the Light of the World, the Son of David, the Son of Man, the Son of Joseph, Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Good Shepherd, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the I AM, the kING of Kings and the LORD of lords – and there is none like Him.

All the gods of the nations are idols, but Jesus Christ is the One, truth and living God. As a perfect man, as God in the flesh, He took our sins upon Himself and died on the cross. Three days later, He rose again from the dead. Jesus Christ is presently alive! Jesus of Nazareth ascended into heaven and currently sits at the right hand of the Father – all authority and power has been given to Him because He is God the Son, the One true, eternal God, and He is above all gods.

If you will repent of your sins, confess Jesus Christ as your LORD God and Savior, and believe in your heart that God the Father raised God the Son from the dead, then you will be saved from hell, be forgiven, and receive a new life from Him that is created just for you.

May you believe in Jesus Christ, for He is above all gods. May you reject all religions, for all the gods of the nations are idols, but Jesus Christ is the One, true, everlasting God.
